Ordering and Shipping |
Orders
Orders may be placed via phone, email, fax, or this website. Registration is not required to order from Solutions Direct; however, for online order status and access to order history we recommend that you create an account. COD orders are not accepted at this time. Open accounts are available only to customers with an established order history with Solutions Direct.
Order Confirmations
All orders are confirmed via email within 24 hours, except holidays and weekends.
Order Changes / Cancellations
Changes to existing orders and order cancellations can only be made by phone and will be honored only if communicated before shipment occurs. Some products are built-to-order and cannot be cancelled once they have been placed. Please reference your sales order number when calling in.
Pricing
All pricing is in U.S. Dollars.
Shipping Methods and Charges
Solutions Direct will only ship product to addresses in the U.S. and Canada. We offer several different shipping methods in order to meet your delivery needs, which include FedEx, UPS, and freight shipments. Our standard freight and handling charges are computed based upon weight and dimensions. We will ship within 72 hours on orders received by 10:00AM PST, based upon availability of inventory.
On larger enclosures and machines, the system is unable to calculate shipping cost. Freight charges will be added to the invoice upon customer's approval.
Canadian Orders
We ship to our Canadian customers via FedEx (with account number only) or USPS. We do not ship orders via UPS. Fees vary based on the item(s) being delivered to Canada, but can be significant and are also the customer's responsibility. For orders outside the U.S., please contact us.

Credit Cards
American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA are accepted. When ordering by credit card be sure to provide the corresponding billing address, telephone number, and security code. Incorrect information may delay the processing of your order. Credit card transactions will be approved online by your credit card issuer, but your credit card will not be charged until your order ships. At this time our shopping cart only accepts credit cards from U.S. addresses.
Taxes
All orders shipping to California addresses will be taxed at the appropriate tax unless customer has a valid resale certificate and is not the end user of the product. Please fill out a California resale certificate (BOE-230 - http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/boe230.pdf) and fax it to (951) 784-5477 or email info@solutionsdirectonline.com to get the taxes removed from the order.
Taxes will be applied in the following conditions:
- Orders shipping to California.
- Orders for Dwyer Instruments shipping to IL, TN, and WA.
- Orders for Ohaus shipping to PA and WA.
