We have used the Raytek RAYMI320LTSCB3 Infrared Sensor in two applications and best results when the integral cable was connected to the Communications Module exactly as instructed by the Raytek literature. (No surprise here, but our first installation wasn't as careful with the shielding and the results suffered accordingly.) Do yourself a favor and pay close attention to the connections and the shielding. Make sure to connect the cable shield to the Communications Module enclosure.
